Date Night Hair Ideas 2011
Date Night Hair Ideas 2011
Date night is definitely a night where you want to impress the lucky guy that you plan on meeting up with. Maybe it’s a friendly date or perhaps you’re looking for something a bit more. But the question that you might be asking is—what hairstyles will catch his attention?
Date Hair Idea 2011 – Keep it Simple

First of all, there’s the good ole ponytail. You simply cannot go wrong with a ponytail—it’s almost impossible. Make sure that the pony is neat and a little higher up if you want to draw a bit of attention to your eyes and other features. A lower ponytail is nice and great for if you want to look a little bit more low-key. But the main thing that you need to remember is that everyone wears ponytails and he may not really notice much with one.

Then, there’s a bun. Buns are always cute and you can really spice them up by doing little japanese buns on both sides of your head. On one hand, it might make you look like a cute little panda bear and on the other, it might make you look a little bit young for your age. It’s up to you and how you want to wing it.

Keeping your hair out of your face is always a good tactic—and one of the best ways that you can do this is by using your good old headbands. Choose something cute and very gently push your bangs forwards. It’s up to you how far—or you can leave them flat. Either way, show off your pretty face! Your confidence will catch his attention!

Heidi Braids 2011 Hair Idea
Heidi Braids 2011 Hair Idea
If you remember the adorable, almost angelic little girl named Heidi and the story about her and her grandfather, then you may remember just how cute her hair was. However, you may also be wondering just how she managed to pull of her hairstyle! In this case, look no further!

First of all, you need at least shoulder length hair. You may find that you’ll have to make more braids if your hair is like this, but at the same time…it’s worth it. If you have rather long hair, then you won’t need to do quite as many braids. Keep this in mind as you start the process.
Secondly, you need to gather several barrettes or bobby pins (depending on your personal preference) and then proceed to braid your hair.
If you have longer hair, you should be able to get away with the whole crown effect. If you cannot, then you may want to consider using two braids at the sides for this effect and then putting up the rest as effectively as you possibly can. It’s up to you.
Next, start braiding your hair. The braids don’t have to be particularly tight, but they need to be good enough that they will stay together as the day passes by. Keep this in mind as you go.
If you have longer hair, then wrap the braids around your head in opposite directions until the tails somewhat meet and then pin the braids to your head. Afterwards, proceed to pin around your head until it is evenly and completely pinned and the pin (or clip) the tails together and then to your hair.
For medium hair, do this with the two front-most pieces and do your best to make sure that they are even. Then, pin the rest how you would like.

Hair Trends to See in 2011
Hair Trends to See in 2011
There are a few notable trends to see in the coming year for hair. These will relate to many parts of hair. These include not only hair colors but also the ways how hair is going to be prepared or tied up at some area. Different types of hair colors are expected to become popular in 2011. The blonde hairstyle is going to be very popular. This comes from how blonde has a real sex appeal to it. The blonde color can also match up with fair or medium skin.

The brown color is also expected to be a hit in 2011. This comes from how brown can work with most skin tones. It is also appropriate for all types of hair lengths.
Another trend for 2011 involves the ponytail. This is a hairstyle that is very simple to use. It can also be used to support the face. This can help to make the face look more noticeable.
Backcombing will be a big trend in 2011. This involves combing the hair to the scalp. This will help to get knots up in the hair. This is used predominantly as a means of creating a great emphasis on the face. It can also be used for longer hairstyles that want to be noticed.
A classic bun style can be used too. The bun will help to create some nice details in the back of the hair. It will also help to keep the hair from being too unwieldy in some areas.

Dyeing Your Hair at Home
Dyeing Your Hair at Home
Dyeing your hair can give your hairstyle a whole new angle and can also cure the change craving without it being TOO drastic. But what you may not realize is that it’s actually a lot easier to change your hair color than you may have thought!

First of all, you need to find a box of dye. You may also want to buy a box of color remover, in the case that you realize it might not have been such a great idea to dye your hair that particular color or that the color brings out the orange tones in your skin and makes you look a little bit like an oompa loompa or does the opposite and makes you look TOO pale. Either way, make sure that you have a backup plan. Also, try to determine about what color your hair is going to end up and whether or not you’ll need to dye it in the first place so that it doesn’t end up being a color that you don’t want and so that you don’t have to resort to the color remover.
Next, you will need vaseline and rubber gloves (if they are not included in the box of dye that you bought.). Put up your hair before you start and use a generous amount of dye around your hair so that you don’t accidentally dye your skin or burn it with the chemicals.
Make sure to follow the instructions carefully before you dye your hair and one more time just in case so that you know you didn’t make any mistakes.

Steps to a Messy Updo Hairstyle 2011
Steps to a Messy Updo Hairstyle 2011
A messy updo is a sexy, cute, just plain fun hairstyle. However, this kind of hairstyle can actually take a bit more work that you would think. So how can you make your normally innocent and tameable locks look as though they went lion mane wild? Well, it all starts at night…
Before you go to bed, after you have combed and washed your hair, braid it. This is a quick way to get your hair scrunched without using water and it normally provides you with tiny, pretty little waves. You can use pretty much any braid that you wish, depending on how wavy/crazy you want it. You can add a little bit of mouse and comb it through to help the waves hold their shape.
Next, un-braid your hair and comb it through with your fingers. If you absolutely need to brush it, remember that it won’t be quite as messy and piece-y but it will still have a definite wave to it.
After that, flip your head almost upside down and start to put your hair up into the bun. Omit your bangs if they are long enough to be included—they should still be fairly neat. If not and you have a straightener, do your best to straighten your bangs and keep them neat and sleek.
Once you have your bun created, secure it with bobby pins, a scrunchie, whatever you have a mind to use. If you want to add a hair pin or something of that nature for decoration, wait until after the next step.
The next step is to pull out a few pieces and let them hang down. This adds to the messiness of the hairstyle.
Next, decorate and enjoy your messy updo!
